Experience rafting in the Hautes-Alpes with a true river globetrotter! Originally from Normandy, I fell in love with the Hautes-Alpes in 1987, at the age of 19. White water quickly became my calling. For 20 years, I lived a "double summer": I returned every year to do my season on the Durance, while I spent the rest of the time in Colombia where I created, developed, and then sold my own company, Magdalena Rafting, in San Agustín.

My name is Amid, but here, everyone calls me Midou. With this solid international background, my 30 years of experience on the water, and my past as a firefighter-rescuer and ski patrol-rescuer in Vars, safety is second nature to me. Today, I welcome you to Saint-Clément-sur-Durance to share the best of rafting with you.

Depending on your desires, I offer two atmospheres:

On the Durance: Accessible, fun, and refreshing routes, perfect for a first experience or for families with children (from 5 years old).
On the Guil: in Queyras, embark on a more athletic, technical, and thrill-filled descent!

Every Friday morning, Midou organizes a rafting trip specially designed for youngsters on the calm and playful waters of the Durance. Why choose the Kid's Adventure with Midou? Safety is our top priority. A former firefighter in Guillestre and ski patroller, Midou watches over your children with the utmost care. The professional equipment provided is fully adapted to small body types to ensure comfort and protection. More than just a descent, this activity is a true discovery of the river. In a fun and educational atmosphere, children learn to paddle, observe the surrounding nature, and have fun splashing around. We chose Friday morning because it's the ideal slot: the water is often calmer and the atmosphere more peaceful, offering perfect conditions for a first experience with complete confidence.
